Our son, Cory, moved into a house with a friend from work, so for the first time since we have been together we are empty nesters. As we both work a lot it took a little while for the fact to sink in, and it still seems a bit strange.
Other than that, I still work too much, get too worked up about politics and the world in general and refuse to behave like I'm almost 60.
Cory and his girlfriend are moving into an apartment in Kalamazoo and Joyce & I still work too much. Took most of this week (July 4) off work, we're spending some time up North. Other than that, not much has changed. I'm still trying to get the hang of Facebook, but I guess I'm just not social enough.
Well, I gave up on Facebook, since I could not seem to get anything to work properly. Still working too much, although it looks like I may be able to retire at 63. Spent my sixtieth birthday in Key West, thanks to my wife. Had an incredible time and I highly recommend Key West to anyone needing to relax for a week.
