After graduation I attended WMU for 2 years and then was hired in at Upjohn (Pfizer) and worked full time until my first child; was a stay-at-home mom for about 7 years and then worked at Gilkey Elementary School (secretary) for the next 25 years. I retired in 2009.
I was divorced and am now married to Tom Somers. We live in the country between Otsego and Allegan. My daughters and grandchildren live pretty close by (2 in Kalamazoo and 1 in Allegan).
We've done some traveling (California, Colorado, Florida, Arizona) since we've been retired but hope to do more. And we're ready to be "snowbirds" once we decide where we'd like to spend the winter.
