I remember in the third grade, Mrs. Norems class when Shelly Dobbs sat on Donald for something. Can't remember what for, but it was before lunch/recess. Also, same grade, same class when he was learning the recorder. The song they were learning was Michael Row Your Boat. Since my name was Michael, I had to hold the book open so he could play for the class during our Milk time...Paul Scherer
If someone can let Don's sister know his date was Maya Askfelt, the Swedish foreign exchange student. We hung out quite a bit in those days and Don was a great friend. The pictures bring back great memories of a good friend! Cheers, Don!!James Green (Green)
Don and I spent a lot of time talking and laughing hysterically about the Benny Hill show and Fawlty Towers! For some reason, we appreciated that English sense of humor and would laugh a lot in Gary Mitchell's classes about episodes we had seen the night before. We always cracked up over our favorite law firm: Hartin, Martin, Barton, and Farrrrrrrrgo! RIP Donny.Cara Krejci (Kensel)
I always remember Donald as being so smart. In grade school he always got the word searches done first. He would always beat me. Also, in fifth grade, Traci Meier got to be his date for the sock hop. We were so jealous! Most of all, I remember that Don was so funny and nice. You can remember how nice he was when you look at his pictures.Mike Gould

RE: Hi, from Mike!
Hi Mike!
Yes, it's me in the picture with Don. He was my prom date. I didn't know he passed away as I lost contact with him after my visit in 1992. Thanks for telling me. It's really strange to get this message from you now, since my latest attempt to find Don was last week. Please let his sister know that I'm sorry and that my year in Plano wouldn't have been as good as it was without Don. I spent a lot of time together with him and I've thought of him many times since I came back to Sweden. I don't want to pay to be able to talk to people on this site, but if you want to give my address to anyone it is maya bryna in one word, at sign and hotmail dot com. I don't think that I'm able to write it out, I tried it once and wasn't able to send it. I can fix this for her: mayabryna@hotmail.com
By the way - if you are going to have a class of 83 reunion and Kathy Kowalski or Paul Scherer show up, please tell them I said hi, and let them know how to find me. I am also a member on facebook and I live in the city of Halmstad in Sweden if anyone wants to be my friend. Thanks again for letting me know. Love, Maya
