Jeffery Lee Edwards, 54, of Downers Grove, IL passed away in Downers Grove on May 4, 2019. He was born on April 26, 1965 in Aurora, IL to Louis and Violet (Bennett) Edwards. He was an Eagle Scout and very active in the Boy Scouts of America. He graduated from Plano High School and was active in band. He is survived by his mother, Violet (Mae) Edwards of Sandwich. 1 sister, Kim (Roy Williamson) Lindgren of Sandwich; 1 brother, Jerry Edwards of FL.; niece, Jackie Edwards; nephews, Todd Edwards, Louis Edward and Carl Lindgren. He is preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents Herb and Elva Edward and maternal grandparents Elmer and Violet Bennett and 1 brother Owen. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to the service May 15, 2019 at the Beverage Family Funeral Home, 104 Terry St, Sandwich, IL with Rev. Steve Vacca officiating. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
