I was going through the notes for the 20 year reunion, some good, some not so good, plus some additional ideas.

* Lock in a hotel and negotiate room rates if we are able to book 'x' number of rooms

* Fund raiser to raise money for the event before the reunion

* Utlization of social websites to track other classmates, i.e. Classmates.com, facebook.com, myspace.com - some cost money.

* Utilization of Class of 1983 to track down class of 84 using Plano High School Class of '83 website.

* Raffle at the reunion to raise funds

* Friday - Attend High School Football game and be recognized for 20 year reunion.
1) Homecoming parade involvement
2) Free Entry for Alumni to the game
3) Halftime announcement of recognition of our group
4) Someplace for the Alumni to check in

* Saturday Day (11am - 4pm) - Have a family gathering during the day where all the families could get together.
1) Picnic out at LaSalle Manor - Cookout, Ball Diamonds, Volleyball, Horseshoes, Swimming Pool, Hiking
2) Go to place similar to Dave and Busters (games for all ages plus food.
3) Golf outing

* Saturday Night (7pm - ???) - Dinner and Social Evening (Dancing, Drinking, Fun, More Drinking and Festivities, and yet even more drinking)
1) Semi-casual - business attire
2) Jeans and relaxing attire

* Sunday - Brunch before everyone travels home.

I'm afraid I probably won't make the chat tomorrow. =( I won't be able to get on 'till late. I guess it just depends on how late you all stay on here. =)

I'm totally cool with whatever. I've seen some great ideas posted so far....and since I couldn't make the last, I'm just really looking forward to seeing everyone again this time.

Awesome to come on here and see all these profile updates. I just can't get over how great everyone looks!

We had a great time in the chat room! We had a hard time typing while we were laughing so hard. We are going to make a standing monthly (at least) chat time so hopefully more people can connect. We have the main event planned, and will be looking to plan other events for the weekend(like Jeff mentions above) in the coming months.

Thanks to Jeff Heaser, Sonia Turner Cooper, Traci Gates Thorson, Julie Hubbard Wade, and Dave Thompson for great input and decision making!
