Katherine Elaine Dudley,

  of Plant City, FL went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2022.

A native of Plant City, Florida she was the daughter of the late Harold Polston and Helen Voncile Sullivan.

Kathy was a wonderful wife and homemaker to Eddie Dudley for 47 years and a loving mother to Mandi (Bobby) Bybee, April (T.J.) Messick. Kathy is also known as Meme to her three grandchildren: Taylor (Kory) Wiggs, Parker and Regan Messick and five great grandchildren: Kayden, Konner, Jax, Jagger, and Sunny Rae Wiggs. Siblings: Daryl Polston and Susie Larimer.

Kathy was a 1975 graduate of Plant City high School. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

She lived a Christian life of purpose and meaning and always looked at the brighter side of things. Kathy touched everybody’s lives and made it a point to make all those she encountered feel special whether someone she knew or a complete stranger. Her most treasured times were the times she spent with her family.

Her hobbies included reading books especially Danielle Steel, doing word searches, crocheting blankets for her grandbabies. She loved helping others in need, talking to anyone, going to yard sales, being on the water, vacationing in the mountains, watching classic TV, and being the best wife, mother, sister and Meme to everyone.
