I have spent nearly 18 years in Nepal between Peace Corps service and in the late 80's and teaching/coaching at the American international school since the mid-90's. I also spent a couple of years in the early 90's in Japan as a teacher. I completed a math degree at MU and an education degree from KU and am now teaching high school math and PE and coaching girls' volleyball and basketball at a small international school in Kathmandu. As a teacher and with my family, I am able to travel a great deal and visit lots of great places in Asia, the middle east, and Europe, and we make it to the US every couple of years.
