I spent 12 years as a consultant to the Department of Defense and retired as the Senior Security Policy Analyst for Technology Transition at the State Department. Well, "retired" is not really the right word. I burned out and quit. I too the next few years off to loaf around and race sailboats all over the world. When the money ran out I moved back to Wisconsin and went back to work as an engineer in Brookfield.
I have a little house on a little lake in East Troy (Walworth County) and when I'm not working or wasting time sitting at the computer I am restoring a 1949 Chevy Fleetline. For those still in the Platteville area it's the one that was sitting behind Rory Silver's barn out off 151.
