Debbie was a good friend who was gentle and kind. I met her first in 7th grade and we were friends through graduation. Condolences to her family. -Nettie Hunsaker Francis
I had some classes with Debbie, she was always so nice and quiet. I really got to know her when I worked with her at Harmons. She was so nice, and my kids really liked her. She is missed.
I can't say that I really knew Debbie. However, when I think of high school she is usually what I think about first. My friends and I had an experience involving Debbie that truly changed me and the way I saw other people. Kindness matters and reaching out to those you don't know, lending a hand, sharing a smile - it can make a difference. I've often wondered where the path of life lead Debbie. It saddens me greatly that she has passed.
I knew Debbie since the7th grade. It saddens me that I never spoke to her once. I think back to how I acted not only to her, but to some other classmates of mine. I saw her at Harmons grocery store when she worked there and she talked to me like I was one of her best friends. I could tell she had a huge kind heart and she was a much better person than I was. God bless her and her family. She has definetely had a huge impact on me on how I will forever treat people.
You were always the kind one....always had your hand held out to pick some one up. What a bright and welcoming girl and spirit you were! You found the way to transition that into adulthood. Thank you cutie pie......I for one will never forget you....
Debbie touched my life in ways that she never knew, through her sweet and beautiful spirit and smile. I too have often thought of Debbie and wonderded what path her life took her. My condolences to her wonderful family.
