Sarah died from Juvenile Diabetes which she had from age 7. She passed away in 2007. She struggled with diabetes her whole life, but she was a very positive and outgoing person. I was in her church ward in North Ogden until I moved away in 1992. Sarah was a beautiful person.
I met Sarah in the 7th grade. We became fast friends. She always had a smile and her giggle was infectious. Although she had many complications from her diabetes, she didn't let them get in the way of her attaining her goals. Following high school she went on to earn her Nursing degree. Sarah was an inspiration to me. I am so grateful to her for the positive impact she had on my life. I think of her often and remember what a happy, loving person she was. Sarah died from complications with juvenile diabetes in September 2007.
