Denise was always so fun and always smiling. I remember the day she was killed, just like yesterday. When I got the phone call, that song, "Almost Paradise," was on the radio and I think of her every time I hear it.
I have so many good memories of her in Mr. Seifert's typing class where we first met as Sophomores. We had a little group who were instant friends and we constantly giggled about anything and everything. I'm surprised we learned anything and weren't seperated from one another.
I still think of you often, Denise and will always remember your smile and kind heart. No matter what you went through at home, you always stayed positive and helped others with their problems.
