I found out about Rob's passing a little more than a month ago when his brother's child was born while I was on OB call at San Ramon. It was nice for me to be able to meet Rob's parents and his brother and share with them how nice a person Rob was and some fond memories of him from High School. He was such a friendly and gentle person. I was sorry to hear that he was no longer with us.
