I saw Kent frequently during the sixties through the mid seventies, when he died from a single rock from a rock slide in Norway. I see him frequently during our undergraduate days while he was a chemistry major at University of Michigan, and I was nearby as a physics major at Michigan State. We traveled to Europe for three months in 1965, including a month in the Soviet Union (along with Dave Washburn and Mike Kepler). I also visited him a couple of times during his post doc at University College, London.
