Kathy Fisher (Schirmacher) notified us that her cousin Gloria Lewis (Roberts) passed away on May 23, 2024 after struggling with COPD for many years. Gloria resided in Lincolndale, New York. She had a successful career as a purchasing agent for a large company. Kathy also shared that Gloria: "loved to knit and was an avid knitter, amazing people with her creative color combinations! [Despite her struggles with COPD] she always managed to share a laugh and have a kind word to say. A very sweet person. Sorry she is no longer with us."
Both her love of knitting and her positivity were cited in our class yearbook. The write-up reads in part: giggles... knitting, flowers, reading. Favorite quote: "That's great!". The yearbook write-up also mentioned that travel was on her bucket list: "future trips to Spain, Mexico and South America". This ties in with citing " Senorita Naumann" as one of her favorite teachers. I hope she saw all three places and more! RIP

I knew Gloria all thru High School, as we lived near each other. My description of would be, that she was just an all around nice person, always friendly, and always smiling. I'm sorry our lives drifted apart. Anyone would be proud to call her a friend.Fare thee well in your new travels Gloria.
