Lorri Webster, Jim's sister, reported on her FB page on January 29, 2018: Very sad, my brother Jim, a/k/a "Blue", passed away early this morning after a long illness...he was at his Nobleton, FL home under hospice care. He requested to rest in Seminole, FL. [ where his nephew/Lorri's son, is buried].
Becky adds: Due to his health issues Jim was unable to attend our 50th reunion. However he wrote a nice note. He mentioned that the best trip he ever had growing up was with Jon (Doll), Burt, Pete and Joe (Helfer). Jim wore a number of different hats during his working years including: corporate aircraft sales, equipment leasing, aviation consultant, restaurant developer, and board of directors: Florida Restaurant Association. A motorcyle accident in 1991 resulted in some physical impairments, followed some years later by heart issues and then cancer.
If you have some memories of Jim that you'd like to share with the class, please post them below. RIP, Jim!
