I am sorry I did not come to know Bob better during our brief time together. When I saw his memorial picture in our yearbook, I was struck by the fact that he and I were born exactly the same day--September 10, 1946; sadly, we never knew each other well enough to have exchanged that bit of personal information. In retrospect, I also see his memorial picture being a kind of foreshadowing of the other more celebrated Robert Kennedy who would be assassinated some 5 years later.
