Ellen Marie Della-Moretta Hinman

I initially worked in the medical field with state and national licensing in Pasadena and Ridgecrest, CA. Ultimately I was hired by the Naval Air Warfare Center at China Lake and worked for 30 years on the base. It was wonderful work and wonderful people to work with.

After High School I went to college and got a BS in Microbiology in 1976. After moving to Ridgecrest I got a job on base and from that point I was off and running.

At this point in my life I have pancreatic cancer and have spent much time reaching out to others with a cancer diagnosis to give them support. I have some goals that include learning another language and submitting pancreatic cancer articles to medical magazines as I’m going on to my 3rd year fighting this.
