Michael N Palembas, Jr. died on May 8, 2020.

His father, Michael N Palembas, Sr., started the business, Palembas Hardware Floors, in 1948. Michael, Jr. purchased the business from his father and continued to run the business until his death. He is survived by his 92-year-old mother and two sisters and a brother.

His sister reported that his death was due to an accidental drowning in his home jacuzzi.
