Ms. Debra Jolena Greer, 64, of Mt. Airy, formerly of Ottumwa, IA, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, August 6, 2016 from the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Ottumwa, IA on July 27, 1952 to the late Charles Wendell and Ila Irene Fulcher Cobler. She retired from Wapello County Government Office. Ms. Greer is survived by her son, Billy Lee Overstreet, Jr. and his wife, Lara of Corona, CA; grandchildren, Cassidy, Nicholas, Rylee and Ryan; a sister, Linda Ball of Mt. Airy; nieces, Ila Schuyler and husband, Tim of Mt. Airy, Dena O Neal and her children, Britnee and Raymond of Mt. Airy. There are no formal services planned. Oh Debbie, How could this be? I was one of your first friends when you moved to Pomona from Iowa.
We did 'sleepovers' at both our homes. We ate lunch together at Palomares and you took a bite of my chocolate cake with white icing at the picnnic table for lunch! You were always so fun.
Many years have passed (liked 50 yrs) and I've wondered about you.
