Linda Carol Snelling died Dec. 29, 2001, at age 56.

 

Mrs. Snelling was born Linda Carol Byrd on Feb. 16, 1945, in Muskogee, Okla. She moved to Portland at age 1. She was the national customer service representative for the J.C. Penney account at Columbia Sportswear Co.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Jana L. Snelling and Julie A. Downing; sister, Jane Sukut; and three grandchildren.

 

Private service. Arrangements by Crown.

I will never forget Linda and her love for that car, that  turquoise ( if i remember correctly) Thunderbird that lit up her eyes when she drove it..  Jennifer (Watson) Shetler
