OREGON — Joanne C. Jenson, 68, passed away on Jan. 6, 2014, in Springfield, Ore. She was born Aug. 23, 1945, in Hood River, Ore. She worked the insurance industry in Portland then operated a secretarial service and window business. Because she had spent time at her grandfather’s property as a child, she moved to Ocean Park in 1997. She started her real estate career with Lighthouse Realty in Ocean Park in 1998. Real estate was dear to her heart and many of her clients became friends.

In 2002, she met the love of her life, Ron Jenson, and they were married in April 2003. He died in October 2009.

Survivors included her son, Christopher Campbell and his wife, Carrie Campbell of Springfield, Ore., a grandson, Jake; granddaughter Charlotte; a brother, Ed Cyphers of Gresham, Ore; and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering at Lighthouse Realty in Ocean Park at 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 18 to share stories about Joanne.
