A memorial service for Larry W. Lowe of Scappoose will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Mt. Scott Funeral Home. Private interment will be in Lone Fir Cemetery.

 

Mr. Lowe died of cancer Saturday in his home. He was 47.

 

He was born Aug. 20, 1945, in Portland and graduated from Jefferson High School. Mr. Lowe had worked in the demolition business for many years and had been a co-owner of Allied Demolition Co. since 1986. He had lived in the Scappoose area for the past 15 months.

 

Survivors include his wife, Ethel W.; sons, Vincent of Portland and David Goren of San Diego; daughters, Teresa Boyer and Crystal Ray, both of Portland, and Renee Lowe Goren of San Diego; mother, Rachele Lowe of Portland; sisters, Mary Jane Pingel and Michelle Smith, both of Portland; brothers, Patrick of Enterprise and Michael of Portland; and six grandchildren.

 

The family suggests that remembrances be contributions to the Portland Adventist Medical Center hospice program.
