KATHLEEN WEST-BROWN
December 29, 1944 ~ May 4, 2013
Kathy was born in Portland, Oregon and lived much of her adult life in the Vancouver, WA area.
While married to Jim Dixon, she had her sons, Mike, Mark, and Greg.
Later, she married Dan L. Brown, who worked at the Port of Vancouver, and acquired two step-sons: Don and Kevin. She had seven beloved grandchildren.
She was also blessed with wonderful neighbors and friends.
Kathy wrote: "In a life filled with happiness and heartbreak, family vacations, boating and soccer games,
I loved my family most of all and will for eternity."
For 11 years, Kathy and Dan have been caretakers of the historic Cedar Creek Grist Mill outside Woodland, Washington. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held there sometime in August.
