Terry Leonard Scott Sr., 69 of Portland, Oregon passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 at his home. ?

Terry was born February 16, 1944 in Lake Providence, Louisiana to Henry Daniel and Mary (Dickson) Scott. He graduated from Boise Elementary and Jefferson High School where he excelled in playing sports especially baseball. He served in the US Marines during Vietnam where he received two Purple Hearts and other military honors. Terry was employed at his family’s company Coast Janitorial Service for 50 years.?

Terry is survived by his children: Terry Jr. and Robyn (Desaugi) and his grandchildren: Eryka, Kayla and Desaugi II. His three sisters: Bernice Scott Noble, Ethel Beatrice Love and Shirley Ann McCoy and his brother Samuel Scott along with a host of nieces and nephews.?

A celebration of life service will held at 12:30pm Willamette National Cemetery 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd Portland, Or 97086 on Monday, December 16, 2013 for the graveside service. Repass to follow at Billy Webb Elks Club 6 N. Tillamook St Portland, Or 97227 at 2:30pm.
