Emil Dameff

Teddie and I started dating after 11th grade and we have been toghether ever since. After graduation we went to the frozen tundra for college (Chattanooga, TN). In 1987 we returned to the warmth of Miami for Medical School. I then did my internship and residency in Gainesville at University of Florida. I started practice in 1993 working for the Florida Department of Corrections as a Medical Director. I opened a small private practice in Punta Gorda in 1999, but continued with corrections. In 2001 I was hired by a National Company called Wexford Health Sources out of Pittsburgh. I remain a Regional Medical Director for this company along with my private practice. Three years ago Teddie (who is an RN) was able to quit her job and work with me and it has been Fantastic! Our passion is our parrots and exotic travel. We will probably never leave Charlotte County.

What stands out in my mind the most is we put on a variety show in 10th grade. I was a magician and Lou Candelaria was my lovely assistant in a pink tutu. As if that was bad enough he/she ruined every one of my magic tricks!
