Helen departed this life Going to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 23, 2000. Services for Helen was held at the Rising Sun Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday August 26, 2000. She leaves to Cherish her memories her mother, Mrs. Irene Holmes And one son Darious Curry. She loved her class.

I have so many fond memories of Helen. We attended the same church as children. We were members of the Junior Choir and later members of the Senior Chior. We were in the school choir and the band. Do you guys remember our singing group, THE SOULETTES? We were guests on the Jobie Martin Show and we did a a few gigs with a band from Vicksburg, MS. I still can't believe we were allowed to perform with the band in Clubs likes The Wagon Wheel, Danny's Playhouse and who knows where else.
