
Bruce Allen Witt, 55, of Waco, passed away Oct. 12, 2017. He was born Nov. 8, 1951 in Port Arthur to Eddie W. and Vila Witt.
Bruce graduated from Calhoun High School and attended Texas State Technical Institute where he earned a degree in welding. He worked as a welder in the Calhoun County area for many years. Bruce had a love for music, especially hard rock music and he jammed out till the very end.
He is survived by his mother, Vila Witt, of Port Lavaca; daughter, Tabatha Weber and husband, Nick, of Austin; brother, Eddie Wayne Witt II, of Port Lavaca; sisters, Carolyn Cuellar and husband, Jesse, of Pettus, Anita Steele, of Waco, Gayla Fessenden and husband, Chris, of Missouri; numerous nephews and nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie W. Witt.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Salem Lutheran Church in Port Lavaca.
A visitation with the family is planned immediately following in the church fellowship hall. All are invited to attend to bring memories and stories to share them with Bruce’s family.
