Nadia was so very bright in her schoolwork and was such a happy person to be around. She had an infectious smile and a warm personality. Rest in Peace Nadia.
I knew Nadia from Maria Regina days and my parents knew hers. I was invited to many of her birthday parties as children and it was such fun ... Looking back she was a beloved child. When we went to big school (SJC) we remained friends and I was very sorry to hear of her passing. Rest in Peace, Nadia!
Nadia was supremely intelligent and though peaceful, she was strong in her beliefs and convictions. Ava Maria Rousseau was one of her dearest friends and by that extension I too was her friend. Her family ties were strong and loving and all friends of Nadia's were always welcome in their home - even when Nadia was overseas. Rest in Peace lovely SJC sister
Nadia was a beautiful girl, always calm and gentle - don't think I ever saw her angry. She hosted a lime at her home for me when I was very pregnant just to show that my SJC sisters still cared about me - I still have the pic she took of me standing with a flower in my hand (will post it soon). What a beautiful memory of her - Rest in Peace lovely sister!
I still miss my friend... I remember crying at my desk at work when I received the email that my Nadia had passed away. I had been in London the last time we saw each other and she never let on that she was ill. I was angry that she had not told me; but in the same instant, I forgave her because I loved her and I respected her strength and her quiet spirit. We used to write each other letters even when it was so much easier, even then, to pick up the phone and call each other; I would know her handwriting anywhere...I still miss my friend...rest in peace...
I only found out that Nadia had passed away during the re-union and was very sad to learn of this news.
Nadia was my good friend in Maria Regina Grade Schoola and she came to spend a day with me from time to time to play with me at my home in Maraval. She was always a sweet person and very gentle. She will always remain lovingly in our hearts. Rest in Peace in God's house, dear Nadia.
