In Memory

Albion Richardson

Obituary

Rochester NH-Albion “Big Al” Richardson, 52, passed away on January 7, 2022 at his home.

Born in Greenfield, MA on October 4, 1969, he was the son of Albion Richardson, Sr., and Emma (Maloney) Richardson.

Everyone knew Albion by his nickname “Big Al”. Just hearing that name gives you the warm feeling that he spread to all those who knew him. He was a very social guy who could start a conversation with anyone. He was a really good friend to everyone he knew and made an effort to keep up with people constantly whether online or going to see them in person.

Big Al loved motorcycles! Nothing made him happier than riding his bikes. He referred to his two motorcycles as “his girls”. Bikes were his passion, and he made many good friends with the same enthusiasm.

He was an extremely creative person. Al enjoyed crafting and created unique items like jewelry, keychains, and dream catchers. He was really good with his hands and loved to take on new projects. Al would make large amounts of his crafts to donate to charity.

He was huge into volunteering his time to help others. He worked both at Salvation Army and the Soup Kitchen serving his community which he loved so much. Al especially made many good friends at the Soup Kitchen and enjoyed volunteering so he could see them all.

Al also loved to spend time with his brother Matthew. He liked to help out around his shop and have the opportunity to catch up with him daily.

He is predeceased by his parents Albion and Emma Richardson, and his brother Mark Richardson.

Big Al is survived by his brother Matthew Richardson and his wife Heidi, and his sisters Pamela Spearing and her husband Steve, and Kathy Brown and her husband Preston, his 5 nephews, Justin Richardson, Joshua Richardson, Kyle Richardson, Jason Richardson, and Eric Bubier, his two nieces Rachel Baker, and Sabrina Brown, as well as many dear friends.

Services for Al will be held in the spring when the weather is nicer, as well as a Memorial Ride with all of his close biker friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the: Bikers Against Child Abuse of New Hampshire at https://newhampshire.bacaworld.org
