SPRING GLEN- Lana Jean Passarella, age 45, passed away Feb. 2, 2006 in Roosevelt. She was born Jan. 12, 1961 in Price to Robert S. and Anna Lou Jorgensen Birch. She married Fred Passarella and were later divorced. Lana loved being in the outdoors especially camping and fishing with her family. She also enjoyed crafts and doing yard work. She worked for MSHA for more than 20 years and most recently worked as a mine inspector and investigator. She is survived by two children; Nicole and Tanner Passarella of Spring Glen, brother Terry (Montie) Birch and sisters; Christine Melo and Lynette Birch as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Also survived by a special friend Dennis Christensen. Preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and sister Sherry.
