Tamra Mary Marx, age 36, passed away peacefully Aug. 13, 2009 while surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with muscular dystrophy.
Tammy was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she received her endowments in the Manti LDS Temple.
She graduated from Carbon High School in 1991 and later received her associate of science from CEU.
She was a very kind and thoughtful person. She had a sincere interest in the lives of others and genuinely loved without judgment.
Tamra desired to be independent and worked as long as she could to support herself.
She was a regular at the Saturday matinee and enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Tammy and I used to talk quite a bit about our medical problems. In the end she was really struggling, especially financially because of medical insurance issues and meds that she needed. She worked for a law office for a long time and we would often talk in court before and after proceedings; always about how each of us were doing. Her MD was quite a battle for her as were (and still is) my medical issues with all the pulmonary embolisms and heart attacks. She'll be missed!

I miss Tammy. She was such a good friend, I moved into Price end of Junior yr. She accepted me and made me feel welcome. I will be forever greatful for her. Not only was she a great friend but she introduced me to my wife, a good friend of hers after graduation. My family and I love her and all she did for us. Love and miss you. Dean and Nikki
