I had no idea....I'm sorry to hear it. I remember his dry sense of humor.

Many of you may not have known it but Joe was a fantastic artist. If you are on facebook, go to his brother Tom's profile. Tom has posted pics of some of Joe's work.

i just saw this sight last night. instantly taken back to Glenwood and seeing his crooked glasses and watching him write with a pensil down to the nub. i would take his pensil and sharpen it because it bothered me so bad. i remember thinking that joey would be extremely successful. he had an ability to solve extreme math equations like i could add one plus one. i remember a sweater i bought him one christmas and he wore it out. i also remember the vw van that picked him up in the evenings. i am so sorry the world lost joey--i know it sure saddened me. i admired his skills and will never forget the fragile little boy i remember in math class. he was one of the few true friends that didnt look down his nose at me. i cant see to type anymore. HE WILL BE MISSED.

I heard about Joey passing away some time ago, and was very saddened by the news. This is the first time I have been on this site. I went to school with Joey and Tommy at Glenwood since we started school. I always loved Joey and Tommy. They were always so kind, and not to mention very talented and smart. I can see Joey now in band class at Glenwood. Joey is sure missed.
