I went to school with Lee from elementary at Knob on through. I remember him as being a big guy but once you got to know him, he was really just a teddy bear. He is missed!

Lance Lee

I recall once that Lee, Jade White, Kevin Sizemore and a few others and I went snow skiing at Winterplace. Lee had never been on ski's before and he wore a long denim trench coat. He would only go straight down the mountain as fast as he could and then fall at the end. His trench coat was frozen by the end of the night. How funny that was to see. I'll never forget it.

Many people were scared of Lee. Some with reason, some with out reason. But Lee was a product of his environment. If anyone remembers the "riot" at PJHS, then I dont have to say any more.

Lee never deserved what he got.

I had known Lee from kindergarten til the time of his death. I remembered hearing about it & upon finding out he was at Seavers memorial I went in & asked to see him. This & Melissa Pitzer both hit me hard because I knew them for so long. Lance was right Lee never deserved what he got. But I will always remember him as someone that knew someone no matter what friends of his was around & was always the same guy no matter what. I never feared him, I never felt I had reason to, nor made me feel less than a friend. funny how you can recall things with more clarity when older & wiser(?). Thanks, Lee, for always being you & always being a friend. Godspeed old friend.

If I recall right, the accident was around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday of '88. I was working @ Spencer's for the holidays when I got the news.

I remember him the same as Jesse. I never had a reason to fear him and he was always the same no matter what. He was always kind to me. I miss his smile.
