Roger Wayne Chandler, 43, of 170 Coppola Street, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at his residence.

Born on April 29, 1971 in Bluefield, he was a son of Janice Ramona Nichols Chandler of Bluefield and the late Roger Lake Chandler, Sr. He had been a resident of Bluefield for most of his life and was a disabled volunteer firefighter for St. Stephens Fire Dept. in NC. He had also recently received his certification of ordination as a wedding officiant.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Nichols.

Nephews: Michael Whitteker, Pete Gembka, Jr., Michael Gembka, Ronnie Chandler, and Roger Chandler, III

Great niece: Ryleigh Atkinson

Grandmother: Mona Nichols

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 7:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Wes Lambert officiating.
