Keith Sebens

Keith Sebens

Keith Sebens, 32, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Prior Lake, passed away suddenly in his Fort Lauderdale home on Thursday, October 2, 2003.

Keith graduated from Prior Lake High School in 1989.

He was survived by his parents, Duane and Sharon Sebens of Prior Lake, sister, Kimberly Brown of Edina; brother, Mark Sebens of Minneapolis; niece, Theresa Brown of Edina; grandmother, Evelyn Soderling of Plymouth; aunt and uncle, Gloria and John Tebbenkamp of New Hope; several aunts and uncles.

There was a memorial service on Tuesday, October 14 at 1 PM, at Prince of Peace Church in Burnsville.

I miss Keith everyday. He was our youngest. Keith was a “jack of all trades.”

He knew a little bit about everything.  He moved to Florida and worked as a computer programmer for Dell.  He also had a few side jobs to stay busy.

Keith had many interests, one of which included his love for children. He understood them and communicated well with them.

It is difficult for me to talk about him, but I am so appreciative that your class will be remembering him.  Please wish your class well.

~As told to Jen Murphy Kons by Keith’s mom, Sharon Sebens

Looking back, your originality demonstrated your courage. It showed us that being distinctive and different was good in a place where conforming was the norm.
