Over the past few years, I've been involved in my kids High School marching band. Everytime I watch the drum majors, I think of Dennis in his white drum major's uniform. I didn't get it then, but he was a great drum major and musician. Dennis, you are missed!

I had no idea that you had passed...I was in the band that followed your lead...you were so passionate about music...I hope music surrounds you now.

I love your comments, Steve.  I didn't get it then either, but I'm a marching band fan now.  What a great guy.  Dennis just did what he was passionate about; he left a good legacy for the rest of us.

Dennis had a gift for making people feel loved and welcomed. I appreciated his friendship and his listening ear.

Dennis Harris died Sunday at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He suffered internal and pelvic injuries in an afternoon crash at 4500 North and University Avenue.A car was turning left on University Avenue as Harris was headed south. Harris tried to stop his motorcycle. He flipped over the top and hit the car, and the bike hit him.

The driver of the other vehicle was uninjured, but police cited her for failure to yield.

Just visiting this site to see who has passed on.  What a joy to have known Dennis.  He was one of the most standup guys ever. Always kind to others, fun to be around, full of life, and a quality man.  Many good memories of riding ATV's at the dunes with Dennis.  Super fun.  I miss you my friend.  Many people I know miss you.  I and a group of friends tried to come and say good bye at the hospital after your accident.  We just missed you by minutes.  Very intense and sad time, but I beleive we will see each other again.  Until then my friend.  Ride those heavenly roads, doing the good that you did here.

Todd
