Randyl "Randy" Henry Rapier, 21, died June 27, 1984, in LDS Hospital, Salt Lake City, after an auto accident. He was born Sept. 17, 1962, in Lynwood Calif., the son of Arthur D. and Callie Katherine Haggard Rapier. He received his education in Downey, Calif., and Provo schools, graduating from Timpview High School. He worked as an auto mechanic. At the time of his death, he was returning to school to obtain a computer science degree. He lived in Provo for the past 10 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Edgemont 4th and 14th wards. He was an Eagle Scout. He was an avid sportman and loved the outdoors. He is survived by four brothers and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Callie Dee) Budlong, Spanish Fork; David A. and Elaine Rapier, Provo; Mrs. Steve (Sandra Lee) May, Ft. Collins, Colo.; Jon H. Rapier, Dana Point, Calif.; Robyn W. Rapier, Salt Lake City; Ricky Del and Lisa Rapier, Downey, Calif. Funeral services will be the Edgemont 14th Ward chapel, 4000 Foothill Drive, Provo. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Hills, Provo.

Randy was such a nice guy. He would always speak soft and kind to everyone. I always considered him a friend.
