Lyneille Tanner

1963 ~ 2012

Lyneille Tanner, 48 passed away peacefully on February 6, 2012. Born March 23, 1963, in Provo Utah to Verlene Winkel & Noel Tanner. Married and later divorced Brent Ross Christensen, together they had one child, Lacey Christensen Johns.

Lyneille was always the life of the party, one that you couldn't miss. Her passion for animals was unlike any other. With a personality bigger than life she had the ability to light up the room and bring a smile to everyone's face. All who knew her has a story to tell that won't be forgotten. Her love to help others is one of her many traits that will live on.

Survivors include her daughter Lacey Christensen Johns, son-in-law M. Colt Johns, granddaughters Keigan & Brightyn, parents Verlene & Noel, brothers Todd & Ori , sisters Tamera & Leesie (Olsen) & Kayzia, Step-mother Vicki Watson Tanner. Proceeded by grandparents.

We will be holding an open house celebration in her honor at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy in South Jordan this Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 2-4pm. Guests are encouraged to write a letter to Lyneille to be placed in a sealed box.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lyneille Tanner Memorial Fund at America First Credit Union.
