Mele Halasima

Mele, our beloved daughter, sister, and cousin has peacefully and quietly departed this life to return to her Father in Heaven.

Mele graduated from Timpview High School. She was a dedicated LDS member and attended seminary. Mele died while actively serving as a member of the "Rising Stars", a program she loved. She enjoyed helping others and shared her talents. She dedicated herself in service, and was recently involved in sending things over to the "troops", and also to their families that were left behind.
Mele was a fun loving young lady who enjoyed life, her family, and her many friends. People loved Mele's sweet smile and her glowing personality. She loved to play volleyball, and to dance with Aloha Catering. Mele was a very loving, kind and caring person, and she will be greatly missed by her family, and many loved ones.

Mele is survived by her parents, Timote and Cathy Halasima; a sister, Suliana; three brothers, Isaac, Timote Jr. and Viliami Vaha Halasima; grandparents, Mele Kakani and Sione Halasima; and Peni Hevaha and Ana Ngatuvai and family; and many aunts, uncles and cousins from the Islands of Tonga; Uncle Bill Collins and family; Auntie Debi Latu and family; and Auntie Lolly Collins and family.

Funeral services will be held Thurs., April 10, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., in the Freedom 2nd Ward Chapel, 888 S. Freedom Blvd, Provo. Friends may call Wednesday evening, from 6-8 p.m., and Thursday afternoon, at the Ward Chapel, one hour prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
