Brent Jay Wardle, a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, died on August 5, 2008, from complications following surgery.

Brent was born March 22, 1963 in Provo, Utah, to Bud J. and Barbra Jones Wardle. He graduated from Provo High School and attended BYU where he majored in Accounting and played Linebacker for the BYU football team. He later graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Computer Software Engineering.

Brent married Shanna Davis on Sept. 12, 1992 and they are the parents of two daughters, Kali and Kayla. The great loves of Brent's life were his family, his job, reading good books, and spending time camping with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife and daughters, a sister, Lisa Hoswell, (Brian Bowers), of Calgary, Canada; a brother Kelly Wardle, (Lorraine), of West Jordan; and mother, Barbra Wardle of Orem. He was preceded in death by his father, Bud.

Funeral Services will be held Sat, Aug. 9 at 1 pm at the Daybreak Stake Center, 11685 S. Kestrel Rise Rd (4510 W.) So. Jordan. There will be a viewing from 11:30-12:30 prior to services. Interment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, 4800 N. 650 E. Provo at 3 pm. Online Condolences at www.jenkins-soffe.com
