"Big Al" and I shared many walks to/from school. Five blocks for me - only two for Al - uphill both ways.

"Like a Rock" is a song that always reminds me of Al.

Al was a good friend that left us all too soon. I know the world would be a better place if he was still here.

Al, you are missed by all of us. I will always remember the fun we had, and what a friend you were.

Years after you had passed I felt as if your spirit was with me. I promised your mom years ago that I would name my first son after you, I still see her pretty regular.

You watch over me each day. I have felt you with me in Korea while watching the Koreans demonstrate out in front of Soul Main Subway Station. You put your feet next to mine in the sand while in Saudi. I know it was you because it was you that pushed me to make it under 14:50 in the two mile that time in the Army. It was you that keeps me going everytime I have fallen to the ground. You pick me up and carry me until I can go on my own.

You were by my side when I was in middle school and even high school. You allowed me to tag along with you and many of your friends. You taught me how to fight... to stay alive. You are always with me. Next to me and in my heart.

Your forever loving Little Bro.

All great friends, great memories.  Where do you start?  Next time I see ya, I'm going to kick your tail.
