I am still replaying last night's reunion in my mind (while working my way through the Manet).  I think it was a fantastic evening (and not just because I was on the planning committee).  People were reconnecting with old friends and getting to know classmates for the first time.  It felt very warm and sincere.

While there were many fun and interesting aspects to the reunion, my favorite part (and what makes this reunion stand out from all the others) was the open mike introductions.  It was wonderful to see and hear from every single classmate who attended...to hear about their retirements, their grandchildren, their travels, their sorrows.  Each one mattered to all the rest. It was a unique and very moving experience and I will never forget it.
