Jimmy Don Canaday - Class Of 1961

Jimmy Don (69) passed away on April 23, 2013 at his residence in Winnsboro.  He was born on May 2, 1943 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to Curtis and Imogene Cave Canaday.  Jimmy was a self-employed exterminator, Deacon at Rock Hill Baptist Church and sixteen year owner of Canaday Dairy in Winnsboro.  Jimmy is survived by his wife Doris, Winnsboro; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Justin and D'Anne Canaday, Winnsboro, Robby and Rhondie Huddleston, Quitman; daughter Robin Huddleston McDowell, Winnsboro; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma and Bill Beech and Diane and Bobby Blackwell, Quitman; seven grandchildren and one great grandson.

Jimmy Don served in the Army during the Vietnam war as a Medic with the 44th Medical Brigade stationed at the 36th Evacuation Hospital in Vung Tau.
