2010 will mark my 40th. year in healthcare. I've spent my nursing career working with developmental disabilities, critical care/ICU, post op recovery and currently am managing an ambulatory surgery center for interventional pain management. It's been a great ride, but I'm looking forward to starting my next phase of life - RETIREMENT. 2010 will be a great year!! I have a wonderful husband and am looking forward to spending some quality time with him as we discover retirement adventures.
2014: Have been retired 4 years already and can't believe how fast the time has flown by. And absolutely can't believe how busy we have become. Retirement just shouldn't be this intense! Both my husband and I are very involved with our church, meal sites, food pantries, VBS, community outreach projects and other volunteer causes. We also spend wonderful time with our great granddaughters, who are ages 4 and 1. My mom will be 96 this year and is absolutely wonderful. We have lived together for the past 18 years and it has been a wonderful partnership. Family is the greatest blessing!

Some of my best memories of high school are the marching band and pep rally days. The football games were the best and being part of the bands was great. It was even fun learning the marching routines. Other great memories-ice skating in the Park bowl, Home Coming and the big bonfires where we burned Miss Fortune.
