"Sam" Simon Krizan

I remember the many hours of playing marbles with Joe in the tree roots of a big elm on the north side of school in the afternoon.  Who had more steelies?  This tree was later cut down for the addition to our Saint John Nepomuk School.  Now a friend from my young commuting days from my Oak Creek farm a monstrous 11 miles away is also gone.  My Nicholson and Fitzsimmons Roads farm with barn still exists and will soon be 125 years old.

See you sooner than later.   Sam Krizan
