RACINE - Michele J. Peters, age 71, passed away Wednesday July 6, 2016 at Willowcrest Care Center. Michele graduated from St. Catherine’s High School “Class of 62”. She worked in the Insurance Industry and in Project Management. Michele is survived by her children, Christopher (Lisa) Sorenson, Laura Mulvenna, Wendy (Guy) Leach and their children; siblings, Marcia Ortiz, Merri (James) Sayler and Sue (John) Kratochvil. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Robert Sorenson. She was proceeded in death by an infant daughter, Dawn Marie and her parents. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave. Wednesday, July 27, 2015 at 6:00 PM. Visitation from 5:00 – 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the Family have been suggested. The Family would like to thank the Staffs of Willowcrest and Vitas Hospice for their loving care.           John, I wanted to pass on to you concerning the death of our fellow classmate Michele Peters. She was born into Eternal Life on July 6, 2016.  She was honored at a Funeral Mass at St. Lucy 's Catholic Church in Racine on July 27. She had been ill for some time following an automobile accident approx. a year and one half ago.

      She is now at Peace.
