Memories submitted at the 40th Reunion - July, 2002:
After high school, I turned eighteen in late July. I started working at Twin Disc in September, 1962 and retired February 1, 1999. I met Kathy Paulson in l980 at H & R Block . We were tax preparers. I was age 37 when we married. We are presently going through divorce. I have a stepson, Alfredo Garza, Jr. (28) who is married and lives in San Antonio.
I enjoy the volunteer work I do with Toys- for-Tots.
Forty years of life experience has taught me….to work hard, spend frugally, stay away from credit cards (as much as possible) and you’ll be able to retire early and enjoy the finer things in life….fishing, golfing and whatever else you enjoy.
