To lose Reggie was to lose a brother. The day of his funeral was perhaps the most difficult day of my life. We were close from the days of NHHS until his death. There simply isn't enough room here to share the two decades of memories, but I especially miss the times when we'd sit in his basement drinking and singing old school R&B like we were the long lost members of New Edition. Reggie always had a way of making me laugh...even when I was mad as hell at him. He still makes me laugh on a regular basis...I keep photos of him in my living room and think of him often. I loved him and miss him dearly.
I will never forget all the good times we shared with Reg! He lived with me about a dozen times in Lexington and when he was in the Cliff, I always went by to visit hime when I was home. We talked at least once a week and I will always consider him one of my brothers! God bless Reggie's soul!
Many times Reggie and I would speak of the future back then. What we wanted to do and how we wanted our lives to play out. I'm so very saddened to discover that he never had the chance to grow old and accomplish all the things that he so desired. Miss you my friend, God bless your family.
Reggie was a good friend. We all had some very memorable times in his basement over the years. We also had many good times in the years after high school. I, unfortunately, was unable to attend the funeral due to being in flight school for the Navy. He is missed.
Reggie was always so fun to be around. He had such a wonderful smile and a great hug. Just the other day I found an old tape of a group of us hanging out in my bedroom acting up like always. Sigh. It took me back to old friends I will always cherish. Miss you.
Reggie was always fun of life. He always had a smile. The last time I saw him was in Louisville at Howl at the Moon, he was having alot of fun and looked great. He will be missed.
Reggie I will miss your smile and big teddy bear hugs. I will never forget the fun times we shared. I last saw Reggie at our 10 year reunion and still remember the hug he had for me. Rest in peace sweet Reggie, rest in peace. Stephanie Wheeler Thornhill
I was hurt to hear about Reggie. He was so sweet and funny...he was my Urkel. He would ask me out and tell me how pretty I was. He was a real sweetheart and is missed by everyone. Love you sweetie
Oh my gosh! I didn't know he died. I am so sorry. What happened? He was so nice to me in school. He never picked on me like some others did. I will miss him. Rest in peace Reggie.
