Note from Betty Gaither Halter:

William (Butch) Hill died in December, and on Wednesday 12/7/11 over 100 people came to visit Linda & Brian. Butch was in the Civil Air Patrol since Jr High in Raleigh. The Master and Chaplain of the Raleigh Lodge along with the local Wilson Lodge put on a Masonic Funeral Ceremony. Each person had on white gloves and an apron. It was a beautiful ceremoney. Butch will truly be missed. {Broughton Class '61}
