Marsha was truly the Leader of the Band, and was a beautiful person inside and out with a million dollar smile. I am so sad to hear of her passing.

Marsha was always a bright star. We did not konw each other well at all, but we were friendly when our paths crossed. She was a presence! I remember vividly that my first real brush with death of someone in our generation occurred when she and several others were in a tragic car accident around the time of our Senior Year. My recollection is that she almost died but then recovered. I don't rmemelber who else was in the crash or if anyone actually did pass away. Marsha was the one whom I knew, and it woke me up at the time. Now, 57 or 58 years later, she is actually gone. Her enormous smile is emblazoned in my memory still.

At our Class Reunion in 1981 (I think it was then), Marsha told me about her work as an oil and gas lobbyist on Capitol Hill. All of the those older male Caucasian legislators . . . I can only imagine that she was quite effective at holding their attention (that is, if my own attention qualifies as a yardstick). She certainly seemed to have found a niche for herself anyway, at the time. Marsha had courage and some daring, and she appeared to be quite good at "keeping her cool" while being very warm at the same time. I can hardly believe that I saw her last 37-38 years ago. Her enormous smile is emblazoned in my memory still.

I vividly remember the accident Charlie is referring to.  It happened the fall of our freshman year in college.  I'm sure other classmates know more about what happened, but I remember my shock at hearing of it.  I believe Becky Barnes (one year ahead of us) was killed, and maybe one or two young men. Marsha was severely injured. It really forced me to face our mortality.

I didn't know Marsha well, but I remember her gorgeous smile!

I got to know Marsha primarily through her mother and sister who were friends of the family. I kept up with her them them when she moved away. Marsha was pretty and full of life. I can see her now marching ahead of the band. She was a good person. Chuck Manooch

I got to know Marsha in our Junior and Senior years.  We were high school sorority sisters in the LAURELS, and she was fun, always laughing with a huge, beautiful smile. She moved all over the country, as did I, and we never saw each other after graduation.  REST IN PEACE BEAUTIFUL GIRL!

Became friends with Marsha at Daniels in the 7th grade.  Sometimes, I would deliberately miss my bus home so I could walk her home, and yes, I did have a crush on her but to no avail.
